I’ve just come back from a weeks camping/adventuring in the south of france. Choosing to travel by car ferry not air was one of the best decisions made in a long time. Thinking that the ferry would be a good place to catch some rest for the long journey ahead was not so cleaver. The boat designers must have been under a strict brief to create the most un-sleep friendly furniture possible (cleverly thought out armrest positioning and so on)…. If you havent booked an expensive cabin for the night, you will stay up and eat, drink and shop!

Great capture, I once fell asleep on the deck of a ferry on the way back from hitchhiking to Paris, surprisingly comfy after zero sleep for ~48hrs!
Oh wow, weird question but which boat was this? I have family in France (French step-mother) and we used to always go over with Brittany Ferries so I recognise some of the features!
