A Sudeley Castle Wedding

Amy & Tom

Sudeley Castle –  ‘Most Romantic Place in the Cotswolds’

Amy and Tom were married in St Mary’s Chapel at the heart of the beautiful Sudeley Castle grounds.  A short drive from Cheltenham in the Cotswolds. It’s recently been voted the most romantic place for a wedding and I can see why. Not only is it steeped in history it’s also a huge venue with so many wonderful backdrops for photos.

This has to be one of my favourite weddings form 2017!  I’d met Tom through working as a videographer and photographer for Ben at Bruton Cox Visuals where we all travelled to Scotland to shoot a wind farm opening. Needless to say, I was very excited when Tom asked me to photograph for Amy and him… to top it off, Tom had also chosen Ben to film the wedding, so we had a great time working as friends.

It was such a pleasure getting to know Amy too through the wedding meetings and on the big day itself, she looked absolutely stunning in the dress she’d had made. In fact, I was corrected, it wasn’t a dress at all. It was a skirt and corset. She’d had antique victorian embroidery details sewn into the silk work. It looked amazing!  Check out the beautiful photographs.
