Working with Ben from The Wedding Cut, at new venue for us. Upwalthams Barn was an absolutely stunning venue, perfect for the marriage of Sarah and Richard.
We started in the morning with our Ben’s aerial camerawork, capturing the essence of the venue from the clouds point of view. Fortunately there were hardly any clouds in the sky at all, which made our jobs so much easier.
Bridal preparations were upstairs at the venue, so we were able to capture Sarah and her bridesmaids finishing off their details before the ceromoney. We setup our time-lapse cameras and caught the flowers, and guests arriving.
We setup in the ceremony room whilst Rich anxiously awaited his future wife to arrive! Sarah took a stroll round the gardens with her father and bridesmaids before heading over to the main barn for the ceremony. After a short ceremony, and a couple of lovely readings Sarah and Rich were wed. They then disappeared off to the back of the barn whilst the photographer setup the confetti shot – it came out great!
After drinks and celebrations, Sarah and Rich were introduced by the Bestman for their wedding breakfast. The wedding cake was cut, and the dancing began (The cake must get special mention as it was made by a good friend of theirs – it tasted good too!!). The party barn was a wonderful environment as almost all their friends and family were up and dancing in celebration.
We were asked to film their day, all day, with two videographers.
